Article tips Any article needs to be informative and helpful to the reader.

Make sure you answer these three most critical questions to your reader: Why is this topic important? What do I need to solve the problem? How do I solve the problem? If you can answer these questions, people will trust you and will be willing to see what else you have to say. You can also get people to view your other pages, return to your site, or visit the promotions you have to offer. Remember, the article is all about the reader. Make sure you keep it relevant to them, and help them in some way.

Promoting products Promote products that are relevant to your article. Do not promote products that are loosely related. Get the most highly targeted products you can find. If you are targeting your article to women wanting to lose pregnancy fat, then ads about six pack abs with photos of guys with a ripped stomach will probably not convert well. You could possibly get away with it if the pictures are of women with a flat stomach. Before and after pictures would help. However, you can find a product more highly targeted to new mothers to help with what they want.

Linking to Products How you link to your products is as important as the product you chose. You need to write a good call to action with your product. Make sure that the call to action utilizes the keywords people found your page with. This will ensure a higher click through rate to the merchant. Make sure it touches people emotionally as well as logically. Tell them how the product will solve their problem. This will help the most in getting people to see your product. When you promote an affiliate product, do not try to sell the product yourself. Allow the merchant to do that. Your goal is to get people to the sales page. Too many affiliate sites try to mirror the sales page in their article. This will actually cause you to lose more sales than you will gain. Not only the first time sales, but on the back end as well.
